There are different models that exist within the Ontario public education system that meet the needs of Gifted students.  Congregated programs, Withdrawal programs and regular class with accommodations.  This site will assist all teachers, but mainly regular classroom teachers with resources and ideas to challenge their Gifted students.

Teaching Gifted students can be daunting, challenging and extremely rewarding.  Gifted students have so much to offer and need to be challenged to meet their full potential.

This site will offer ideas and resources in Math, Logic and Problem Solving, Critical Thinking and Creative Thinking. As well as Social Emotional Learning Resources and Reflection and Evaluation.

Over the last 18 years I have taught the Withdrawal Gifted Program at the elementary level. I teach roughly 80 students per year. I have designed this site to give teachers of Gifted students some ideas and resources that they can use in their classrooms. Through this site I hope to help students prepare for their future role as global citizens while supporting their overall development and well-being.
